What is the minimum order for custom kippot?

Custom kippot orders start at 60 pieces. Below that we cannot do bespoke design, because cutting, lining and print setup are done per run. Challah covers and tallit or tefillin bags are made one at a time, with no minimum.

How long does production take?

Estimated production time is 4 to 8 weeks from approved design. The range depends on quantity, material and whether the pieces are embroidered: 60 suede kippot sit at the short end, a large embroidered velvet order at the long one. Add a few days of design and the shipping time, so it is best to write to us three or four months before the event.

Do you ship internationally to the US and Latin America?

Yes. We ship worldwide: Latin America, the United States, Canada, Europe and Israel, tracked and insured. Import duties are the recipient’s responsibility and we give you the estimate before charging. We schedule arrival about a week before the event, leaving room for customs.

What kippot materials do you offer?

Suede, satin, velvet, knit and leather. Suede is the most requested for its matte finish and stable color; satin works beautifully in candlelit receptions; velvet is for evening events and shows gold thread well; knit reads younger and takes daily wear; leather lasts the longest. During the consultation we tell you which suits your event, palette and budget.

Can I print names and a date inside the kippah?

Yes, and it is included in every custom order. The inside print carries the names, the civil and Hebrew date and the venue, in the typography of your invitation. If you also want something visible on the outside, we can embroider a monogram, a logo or a motif; that adds production time and we account for it in the quote.

What if I do not know what design I want?

That is the most common case, and it is exactly what our guidance is for — it is what makes us different. Tell us about the event, send the invitation or a photo of the palette, and we propose material, colors, typography and embroidery until it feels like yours. We never leave you choosing blind from a catalog.

Can I change the design after approving it?

During the design stage revisions are unlimited and free, and nothing is cut until you approve the digital proof. Once production has started we can change text or color only if the batch has not been cut yet; we confirm that cutoff date in writing so there are no surprises.

Can I see a physical sample before ordering?

Yes. We courier a material and color swatch set so you can see and feel the real options, and we can make one sample kippah with your real print for the cost of shipping. If you go ahead with the order, that cost is credited against the quote.

What file do you need for the design?

A vector is ideal: AI, SVG or editable PDF. If all you have is the invitation as a JPG or a phone photo, we redraw it at no extra cost, because it is part of the design work. And if the artwork does not exist yet, we create it from scratch with you.
